Creating Better Lives for Arabs in Japan

This ambitious project is aimed at helping Arabs in Japan to live a smooth life. We were asked to make a logo that contains the first three "T”s in the project’s keywords “Taraabut, Tanmiya, Tatweer” (Translation: Connecting, Growing, Development). At first, we studied the three areas of services they provide, which are Real Estate, Life Support and Providing Everyday Information. Then we turned to the amazing team involved, which includes Arabs to facilitate communication with clients. The last thing we looked at is the long 50 years history of the parent company. Combining all these three factors, we came up with a house made up with 3 "T"s.

Solar Car Team

The World's Top Solar Car

The fruit of mutual research between Panasonic and Tokai university is the top level solar car “Tokai Challenger”, and we’ve made a logo for it.The car has been the winner in the World Solar Challenge (WSC) in Australia, and had been in many other races. The car represent the ultimate form on perfect execution, persistence in quality, and dedication for results that Japanese are renown for. One factor to represent such amazing craftsmanship is the Aerodynamics of the design. We chose a sleek design to express that. It only shows the outline of the body, giving it a feeling of speed and accuracy. Combined with a closed blackbox feeling body to give it rigidness and compactness.

King Abdulaziz Poster

King Abdulaziz Poster

Heritage in a Moder Design

This poster is a memoir for the most powerful man in Saudi Arabia’s history, King Abdulaziz. We added Augment Reality (AR) technology to this piece, but designing it was not that easy. Aside from the fact that it had to look official and diplomatically acceptable, we had to keep in mind the weight of handling king-related matters. While we chose rigid designs to keep the official looks, In the other hand, we used our imagination, and made the 2D poster - literally - a 3D experience. Through AR, much more historical photos can been viewed and the king’s speech can watched. The work was made a poster in an exhibition, with tablets ready for government officials and general visitors to interact with it.

Education Fair Flyer

Education Fair Flyer

Technology Meets Education

Every year, universities from all over the world gather in Saudi in the “Higher Education Fair” to appeal to young Saudis eager to study abroad. In the midst of that, Saudi cultural offices from every country also make their appeal. As a representer to the Japanese side, we decide to compete with technology. Each  of the two flyers has Augmented Reality (AR) embedded in it. The first one couldn’t fully express the achievements of young Saudis in Japan, so we added extra photos and videos. The second flyer was made to attract students to Japan, so we invited a graduate from a Japanese university, who currently works in a Japanese company, and made him talk from paper and express his journey.

Saudi Arabia Pamphlet

Concept

Saudi Arabia Pamphlet

Everything You Need to Know

This is a concept we made for the Saudi embassy of a pamphlet that will introduce Saudi Arabia as a whole. Saudi and Japan’s relationship dates back to 60 years ago. But surprisingly, there aren’t easy to read, whole publications about Saudi in Japanese. Our initial thoughts are of making a pamphlet that still look like an official documentation, but is modern in design, and introduces various parts and cultures of Saudi. A pamphlet is easier to read than a book. Also, it is flexible to allow us to add media, and with AR technology, we can surpass the existence of a paper, and add various images and videos in a different dimension than publications.

Stamp Magazine for LINE

Stamp Magazine for LINE

Curation Magazine for Creators

This app is a curation magazine for LINE stamps, produced by Watanuki Kikaku, Ltd. Users can review their favorite stamps, and easily choose which stamps best suits their needs. Our focus was to give a theme consistency throughout the app. We focused on every pixel, making sure it is delivered right to the user’s eye. UX is where we started. Each item’s color, each font’s thickness, where buttons have to go were made so that the user can intuitively move through the app. Next up was UI. We based the theme on flat design, and measured each bar, icon and text to the pixel and made micro adjustment accordingly.

Tinder for Closets

The German startup Darpdecade is rolling out it’s vintage clothes swapping service, offering a “Tinder for Closets” experience for users in the collaborative consumption space. They are very passionate about what they do, and since we share that passion with them, we took responsibility to design the landing page and the app for them. This was before releasing the official app, so we focused more on a simple landing page with touch of vintage to it. With the app though, it took some work. With most of the target users being not so literate with IT, we had to make the designs of everything as easy to understand as possible.

Connecting People in a New Way

An SNS platform for the blue collar. The project itself didn’t make it to public, but we helped out with mockups for the pitch. We made mockups for PC website, smartphone website and logo. One of the first things we thought of was using warm mix of colors to give the whole service the human touch. The second thing was design. As most of the target audience is illiterate about IT, we focused on making the interface as simple and intuitive as possible by choosing how and where to put buttons and the overall design. The logo was also warm and simple to understand with the representation of 2 people beside each other.

Flappy Origami

Concept

Flappy Origami

Relax and Get Irritated While Enjoying This Game

We believe in having fun in everything we do. We chose the very popular hit game “Flappy Bird” and redesigned it from our perspective. It’s a simple game where you have to make the bird survive through pipes from the top and bottom. Once the bird touches a pipe, game over. It seems like a simple game but it keeps you irritated. We thought to ourselves what would be something similar but of more elegancy? Our thoughts lead us to the fascinating “Origami”. From 1 simple paper, whole complex geometrical shapes can be formed. The result was a very elegant, highly irritating “Flappy Origami” game above our expectations.

We believe that we commit our time to do what we love, we being the most value to the world. When that commitment is done with people who share the same passion, we can make epic products to the world. Everything we do is evolved around Quality and Perspective. We utilize our various backgrounds and experiences to make products from a unique perspective, produced at the outmost quality. Hence, we do what we think is fun, and we do a lot of things. Currently we are mainly involved in 3 main areas. The first is being Branding and Design Consultation for companies. The second is In-House Projects focusing on turning our ideas to reality. The third is we are working with different artists and creatives to bring their work to life form a different perspective. We cherish people who are passionate about what they do, and together we want to make the world a much more fun place to be.

The world changes by the way we decide to view it. I was fortunate to have grown up in different parts of the world, exposed to different cultures. After graduating from Tokyo Institute of Technology, I gained professional experience working for a Japanese IT company. Then the pivot happened after attending Draper University which made me eager to start my own journey with my friends. My expertise are mainly in simplifying the complex, and bringing great talents together for a greater cause. People say I am action-oriented, thus I hope to make a difference in your life!
